When you click a link on VPNchek and purchase a VPN subscription, we may earn a commission from that provider. This comes at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate commissions
VPNchek earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with the VPN providers we review. If you click a link on our site and subscribe to a VPN, we receive a commission from that provider.
Commission rates vary between providers — some pay more per sale than others. These rates are entirely separate from our editorial process and do not affect rankings, scores, or review content in any way.
What this means for our rankings
Nothing. Our scoring methodology is applied identically to every VPN before any commercial arrangement exists. Rankings are locked before we discuss affiliate terms.
VPNs that pay no commission are reviewed on the same basis as those that do. If a provider we have no commercial relationship with scores higher in our tests, it ranks higher — full stop.
Display advertising
We also earn revenue through display advertising. Advertising partners have no influence over editorial content or rankings.
Editorial independence
Our editorial team operates independently of our commercial team. No VPN provider can pay to improve their ranking, remove negative findings, or influence review content. Providers may flag factual inaccuracies for correction — not editorial judgements.
