Quick verdict
NordVPN wins overall (9.2/10 vs 8/10)
NordVPN outperforms Windscribe on nearly every measured category — speed, streaming reliability, server network size, and independent audit history. Windscribe's real draw is unlimited simultaneous connections and a genuinely usable free tier, but its annual plan price roughly doubled in our most recent data refresh, eroding much of its previous value edge.
